+ What platform do you build your websites on?

+ How long does this take?

The brand package from start to finish is a 3 week process and the brand and website package is a 5 week process.

I book projects in advance to secure a spot in my calendar and give enough time to complete project questionnaires and pre-project information so we can dive right in when your project time begins.

+ What's included with the finished brand and website package?

You will get complete ownership of a fully responsive custom Squarespace website, a 1 hour training session with custom video tutorial to navigate, create and manage content on your website with ease and unlimited email support for 1 week after launching. You will also receive all final graphic files for future use.

+ What do I need to have ready before I start?

At the beginning of the branding process, before the project start date, clients are required to fill out my Outstanding Brand Clarity Workbook. It’s the best way to understand what will set you apart in your industry and help you connect with the right people.

If choosing the brand and website package, you'll need to have the above mentioned for branding and all of your website content (all website copy, images, videos, etc.) ready to go. You will also complete a Website Questionnaire. Finally, you will need to have paid the 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your spot in the calendar.

+ How can I get all the website assets in time while we’re still in the branding phase?

Great question! Once we have your clear vision and messaging worked out, you can begin to work on sourcing everything you need for the website while I begin creating the visual brand deliverables. You can use this information to write (or have someone write for you) website copy (that converts) and get imagery for your website. You may already have images ready to go.

+ What do you need from me during the process?

I like to think of this process as more of a team sport. Yes, I’ll be creating all final deliverables and working through helping you solve your creative problems but this will definitely require some input from you as we go.

At the start of each project, we’ll dive into the details with an initial consultation. Here we’ll get into the nitty gritty of exactly what is needed. This means it is expected all prior “homework” is completed and all content for the website is ready to go. To reiterate from the last question, this means ALL copy/imagery/ or any other content you wish to use on your website. If materials are not ready, this delays the project and deadlines and it is possible that your project will be rescheduled.

To stay on track, your prompt feedback is required. Any approvals or refinements needed must be completed as quickly as possible to avoid delays.

As this information is written into the contract, failure to provide feedback/ approval or any content needed by the confirmed deadline date(s) could result in your project being rescheduled. To be fair to you, and every other client in the design calendar, I stick firmly to my design schedule. All my clients would be really upset if I pushed back their design date because a client earlier in the schedule didn’t have everything ready to go.

+ How many website pages are included?

Up to 6 mobile responsive pages are included. This typically includes the home page, about page, services page, contact page, blog page, and an additional page of your choosing. For an additional fee, you can definitely include extra pages.

+ Do I need to purchase a domain ahead of time?

Yes, you will need to purchase a domain ahead of time. I recommend that you purchase your domain from a third-party provider such as Namecheap (I use them) or GoDaddy and I can easily redirect it to Squarespace. You also have the option to purchase your domain directly through Squarespace.

+ Do you provide e-commerce?

Yep! For an additional fee, I can set up a shop with e-commerce capabilities within the Squarespace platform. For your e-commerce shop, I can set up and complete up to 5 products. Anything above that, can be added at an additional fee or you have the option to learn how to add them yourself. Please get in touch to discuss your specific needs.

+ How does payment work?

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place in the design calendar. On the last day of our design period, just before we launch, your final 50% remaining payment will be due. Please book a design spot well in advance if you need to give yourself more time to build up the investment required for the two 50% payments.

As it tends to be a universal currency, all pricing is in USD. Payment can be made via Stripe or Interac e-transfer.

+ Do you have a refund policy?

All deposits are nonrefundable. Your 50% deposit holds your place in the design calendar, meaning that spot is no longer available to be booked by anyone else. If you change your design date within 5 business days of booking, your deposit will be used to hold your new date in the design calendar.

If you change your design date 6 business days or later after booking, your deposit cannot be used towards another design date and will not be refunded.

In the event of project cancellation or termination during the design process, you'll pay for the services performed to date by me, plus any other expenses incurred as stated in the design contract. There are no refunds on completed projects.

On a case-by-case basis, I work with clients who have an existing strong brand. I truly believe in a strong foundation which is why I like to be part of the whole process. Your website is an extension of your brand and we need all aspects of your brand working synergistically together.
